The purpose of the Antwerp Student Council is to promote pride, spirit, service, and achievement throughout the school. While representatives come from grades six through twelve, they work with all age levels and believe in investing in the greater community. Student council gives Antwerp students the opportunity to develop leadership skills by organizing and carrying out ideas into fully-formed projects. Examples of the positive impact of student council include gaining approval for a state-of-the-art Archer mascot, maintaining microwaves in the cafeteria, donating money to various local charities, hosting the annual sixth grade orientation, organizing the winter pep assembly, and taking part in a service day for the village of Antwerp.
